That said, both vehicles have potent powertrain offerings. The base Accord trims offer a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) while the Toyota Avalon offers an eight-speed automatic. Both the sedans offer interactive infotainment systems that are easy to use and responsive. Features such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth® connectivity, and a USB audio port come standard on both vehicles, regardless of the trim level. Wireless Phone Charging is available as an option on the Honda Accord but is not available on the Avalon. On the other hand, the Avalon offers four USB charge ports as standard even on its base trim which is not the case with the Accord which offers charge ports only on the higher trims.
