2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid Powertrain Specs
The 2022 CR-V Hybrid’s powertrain is a combination of a 2.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC® inline-four-cylinder engine paired with an AC Synchronous Permanent-Magnet Electric Motor. This combination comes together to produce a combined 181 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque. The engine comes mated to an Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission (e-CVT) with Sport Mode and Deceleration Selectors. The power is sent to all the four wheels through the Real-Time AWD All-wheel drive system with Intelligent Control System™.
The CR-V Hybrid comes with unique trim-specific components and systems that help it to achieve the desired objective that hybrid vehicles are intended for. One of these features is the Regenerative Braking System. The steering wheel-mounted deceleration selectors let the driver either increase or decrease the regenerative braking effect. This helps in charging the high-voltage battery when the driver releases the accelerator pedal.
