2021 Toyota Camry vs 2021 Honda Accord
The Toyota Camry is one of the most popular vehicles in the world, as proven by sales volume repeatedly year after year. Likewise, the Honda Accord certainly gives it a run for its money, having won numerous awards through its four-plus-decades journey. One of the most notable rivalries in the automotive industry, itself rivaling the Civic/Corolla comparison, we thought we’d see how these two midsize sedans measure up to one another considering we offer both at our respective dealerships: White’s Toyota of Lima and Whites Honda of Lima.

Looking at the Camry LE and Accord LX in particular, we built the table above to highlight some of their most crucial specifications. In the first row we looked at horsepower, which is always an important aspect of any vehicle as it helps to deliver an enjoyable experience each time you hit the road. In this rivalry, at least where these two trim levels are concerned, the Camry LE gets a leg up but it’s a tight race, as its advantage over the Accord LX is just 10 hp.
That advantage costs it quite a bit, though. In the second row, we looked at each vehicle’s combined fuel economy ratings, which is where the Accord LX gets a big nod in its favor by achieving four extra miles to the gallon across highway and city driving combined. It has an additional advantage in the third row, where we looked at how much space each sedan has to offer in their respective trunks. The Accord LX manages to offer an extra 1.6 cubic feet to fill with whatever cargo you need to bring along.
The final row is the one area the two sedans are even, as both offer seating for up to five. There are plenty of other specifications and features available in these two sedans that help to differentiate them from one another, such as their unique design cues or similar features. For example, the Camry offers Toyota Safety Sense but the Accord features Honda Sensing. Interested in learning more? Don’t hesitate to give us a call!
