“The all-new third-generation Pilot has been a huge hit with SUV buyers,” Jeff Conrad, Honda Division senior vice president and general manager said in a press release. “For 2017, we’re making Pilot even more appealing with new technology and options that our customers are seeking.”

What can I do with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto?

Owners of the 2017 Honda Pilot can pair their compatible iPhone or Android device to the Display Audio System and turn the latter into a mirror image of the phone’s screen. This will allow drivers (and passengers) to access a wide array of applications for any number of functions. Furthermore, drivers will be able to make and receive calls, texts and emails. Additionally, Honda has improved the Display Audio touchscreen with a new coating to reduce glare as well as fingerprints.

Convenience features for the 2017 Pilot

Between the driver and front passenger is a large storage space in the center console. A large tablet computer can be stored in there, as a point of reference.
