What is the Honda Prologue and when will it be available?

While we’re still a long way out, Honda just recently announced that they’ll be adding a new all-electric vehicle to their lineup for the 2024 model year. The new model, dubbed the Honda Prologue EV, will be the first in an ongoing series of battery-electric vehicles – hence the name Prologue. Details are obviously scarce considering how far out we are, but we thought we’d highlight what we know so far before it becomes available in early 2024.

Will the 2022 Honda Civic Lineup be Available with a Manual Transmission?

For those with a sportier nature, driving is almost never better than when behind the wheel of a vehicle with a manual transmission. While manual transmissions might not be as common or widespread as they once were, especially with the introduction of Continuously Variable Transmissions and Paddle Shifter, they still pop up every once in a while, and they’re still highly sought after by these enthusiasts. That’s why we’re pleased to share with you that Honda has stated both the 2022 Honda Civic Si and Civic Type R will only be offered with a manual transmission, while the Civic Hatchback will also offer one.

Back in September, they broke the news that the 2021 Honda Odyssey was the first minivan to earn a 2020 Top Safety Pick+ award from the IIHS, or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. It was the seventh Honda model to earn a Top Safety Pick award or better this year.
